If you know my story you know that before I became a Pinterest Manager, I spent 18+ years in in the travel and hospitality industry, primarily in sales. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to travel to some of the most fun and amazing places, which is why travel is still one of my favorite hobbies. I love researching a new destination, from the hotels to the restaurants, and planning every single detail for our vacations! And I even create an itinerary to maximize our time! It’s all about efficiency for me….my husband loves it 🙂

And this is where Pinterest comes to play. People go to Pinterest to PLAN. Yep, it’s one of my first stops when researching a new destination. As a visual search engine, I can type in my desired city, plus anything else I might be looking for (i.e. best restaurants in San Francisco), and Pinterest will return 100’s of options. Then, I get to chose which one to click on for more information.

Which is why your pin design is so important! Sometimes all you have is that first impression. Something that grabs your audience’s attention.

In this round of of Pin Design samples, I wanted to highlight some travel pins created specifically for travel and lifestyle bloggers. Let’s dive in, shall we?
