If there’s one thing I love, it’s efficiency! If there’s a way to save time on something, I’ll find it. And I’m not talking about cutting corners here – I’m talking actual time-saving efficiency and effectiveness. And if you’re a business owner like me, I’m sure you’d also like to get some hours back in your day.  And that’s what I want to talk about today – how to save time on Pinterest with my #1 Pinterest time saver.

Have you ever gone to schedule a pin, but had to stop because you needed to first write your pin title and description?

And then, before you could do that, you remembered about the whole Pinterest SEO and keywords thing, so you had to go look up keywords for what your pin was about??!

It’s a viscous cycle. One that causes some of us to throw in the towel. It’s also a cycle that will keep repeating if you don’t do what I’m about to share today.

So what is my #1 Pinterest time saver?

Having a content or product aggregation sheet.

A content or product aggregation sheet is a spreadsheet where you keep the following:

  • URL’s to ALL of your content or products
  • Pin Titles for each URL
  • Pin Descriptions for each URL

And if you’ve followed my Time Hack Method from a previous post, you will have already done keyword research for your content and products which means, you are able to pre-write pin titles and descriptions for each of the URL’s you’ve added into the spreadsheet.

Batch writing titles and descriptions for the content or products you plan to post on Pinterest is a HUGE time savings in your overall strategy and plan.

Having all of this information at your fingertips when it comes time to schedule those pins means it’s really just a matter of copy and paste rather than spinning your wheels trying to write something new each time.

How to save time with Pinterest Marketing

When I first started out as a Pinterest manager, I had zero processes like this. I remember working weekends scheduling out client pins, and then for every pin I wanted to schedule, I would stop to do keyword research, and then write a pin description on the spot. On average it was probably taking me 10-15 minutes to schedule ONE image.

By creating and using a content aggregation sheet, you can do it in a matter of seconds.

This time saver is just a small snipit of my overall time saving process which includes keyword research, this content aggregation sheet and pin design.

If you want to see how all of the pieces of the puzzle come together to save you hours each month, then check out Pinterest Plan on a Page. This mini-course walks you through, step-by-step, this content sheet process, plus how to do your keyword research, pin design and more for your Pinterest marketing strategy.

This is the exact process I use to manage a full load of agency clients inside my business. And now, you can use it too to get the same results!
